EVD3200 Portable Explosives Detector
The EVD3200 is the world’s first trace explosives detector based on Luminol Chemilux. EVD3200 is the only portable device capable of detecting tagged military and commercial explosives, including ICAO taggants, and TATP.
Portable, quick detection with clear, accurate results, very high selectivity for explosives and immunity to humidity problems. EVD3200 detects explosive vapours, non-invasively in luggage, mail cars, trucks, clothing, electronic articles, backpacks and containers.
Operating the EVD3200
EVD3200 is flexible, easy to use, and no carrier gas or radioactive sources are employed. Vapours are collected via the sampling nozzle.
• Fast and Proven: EVD3200 detects tagged plastic and high vapour pressure explosives quickly – giving clear results you can trust;
• Sensitive and Selective: EVD3200 can detect tagged (C4, Semtex) and high vapour pressure explosives such as NG, EGDN, DMNB, TNT and TATP, with low false alarm levels and few interferents;
• Portable: EVD3200 is self-contained, lightweight, less than 3 kg (6.6 lbs), and comes in a fully equipped, rugged carrying case-field ready;
• No Radioactive Isotopes or Radioactivity;
• Easy to Use: EVD3200 is ready to use within a minute from power-up. When necessary, cleaning takes only a few seconds. Simple one step push-button automatic operation. Go/no go results displayed in just seconds on the LCD
